Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Courier to join our team. As a Courier, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages, documents, and other goods to various destinations. The ideal candidate should be able to navigate efficiently, manage time well, and maintain professionalism while interacting with clients and recipients.

 Courier Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver packages, documents, and other items to specified locations within the assigned timeframe.
• Ensure the safe and secure transportation of goods.
• Verify the delivery information such as names, addresses, and contact details before delivery.
• Use GPS or other navigation tools to find the best routes for timely deliveries.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, recipient details, and any issues encountered.
• Obtain signatures or proof of delivery when necessary.
• Communicate with the dispatch team regarding delivery status, delays, or any issues.
• Perform basic maintenance and ensure the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle (if company-provided).
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and traffic laws to ensure safety on the road.
• Handle packages with care, especially fragile or sensitive items.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes.
• Ability to lift and carry packages of various sizes and weights.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
• Comfortable using GPS or navigation apps.
