Role description:
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Pietà, Malta. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting tasks. The role includes preparing financial statements, assisting with month-end and year-end closing, monitoring cash flows, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Accountant will ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, while collaborating with other departments to provide accurate financial information and support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualified Accountant
- Knowledge of Maltese accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to corporate entities.
- Knowledge of GAPSME.
- Ideally previous exposure to Group Structures and Inter-company balances.
